WHAT TO EXPECT

Antioch International Church is a non-denominational, Bible-believing, charismatic church family.  We believe in the moving and ministry of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Our weekly services are Sundays at 10am – and Wednesdays at 7pm.

Getting here:  From Regent Parkway in Fort Mill, turn Southeast onto Glynwood Forest Drive (by the LED sign).  Go for about 100 yards – until you see a sign for Antioch International Church.  Turn left down the hill to find reserved first time visitor parking spots (right in front of the entrance), handicap spaces, or to drop off passengers.  Main parking is at the bottom of the hill a few hundreds yards from our front door – but we have golf carts to help shuttle people to the entrance.

Sunday Services - Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly team who are ready to welcome you to Antioch.  You can sign your kids in for children’s activities right in the foyer.  We have an average Sunday attendance of around 300, with a great mix of generations – from young families and teens to  grandparents.  Most people dress casually, but a few dress up for the occasion.  Complimentary coffee and refreshments are served in our main room from 9:30-9:55am, so don’t worry if you missed breakfast on the way in.  Food and drink are permitted in the sanctuary.  Our worship is modern and contemporary, but no earplugs are necessary for worship here.  There’s lots of room in our sanctuary, so kids and adults who like to move and dance during worship are encouraged to do so along the sides or at the back.  We offer headsets and Spanish translation for all our Sunday services.

Children stay in the service for worship (till around 10:40) and then are released to their fun-filled, action-packed classes – 4 different classes for the varying ages. Children must be registered before attending class.  After a few announcements and other church family updates, you can expect a powerful and encouraging Bible message (usually between 30 and 40 minutes) from one of our pastors.  Once we dismiss, the prayer team is available up front to pray with anyone who would like, and parents can pick up their kids from class.

New visitors are invited to our Welcome Center after the service to receive a free gift, meet some of our leaders and find out more about the church.

Our Wednesday night meetings start with worship at 7pm (with our youth band leading every other week).  At 7:30,  children and youth are released to their activities - kids class for grades 1-8, and youth group for age 13-18.  We have various focuses throughout the year for our Wednesday night speakers, including special series' by Dr. Peter Wyns.  No toddlers or nursery are available on Wednesday nights.   Several times a year, we have special church family events on Wednesday nights – such as Purim and Feast of Tabernacles celebrations, as well as an Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party, and the highlight of our year -  our church family Christmas Party.
