It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint - God sees Generationally - 2. Seasons -Different looking fruit…“They will be like a tree planted by the water    that sends out its roots by the stream.It does not fear when heat comes;    its leaves are always green.It has no worries in a year of drought    and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:8 Sons & Daughters“ I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” Jer. 15:15 3. Walk in Light “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 4. We are His-We must know whose we are, not just who we are… 5. Filled with The Spirit-Walk in the Holy Spirit - Be led by the Holy Spirit- Follow Jesus’ example… don’t rush Simply Walking- The Journey

God’s way or Our way- “Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.” Luke 9:23-24 Choosing Life or Death - Desires & Passions of our flesh…“For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.” Romans 8:13 Which Life are We Living? “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12 Surrender equals Freedom - We are hid in Christ -Our lives are not our own – less worrying & strife God’s way is easy & light – IF we surrender. Dying to Self Requires Faith - We have to TRUST that . . . -God is powerful (and able) - God is good (wise) - God is loving (cares for us) God’s daily invitation – a life of walking with Him - To surrender to Him and encounter HIS power, HIS strength, HIS life and HIS love

Culture: Love = acceptance of my behavior & views Kingdom: Love rejoices in the truth - Gracious confrontation … Mark 10:21 2. Culture: Love must be reciprocated Kingdom: AGAPE … Your good at my expense 3. Culture: Your love meets my physical, spiritual &. emotional needs. Kingdom: God is love. He meets all of my needs 4.Culture: Love is a feeling Kingdom: Love is a covenant action “We love because He first loved us” 1 John 4:19 5. Culture: Love is conditional Kingdom: Love is unconditional “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sin.” 1 Peter 4:8 Simply Love by: Practice giving without expectation - Believe the best - Set Healthy boundaries - Be Patient - Handle conflict through Godly council

Back to Basics: Simply Family. Tonight Pastors Jesse and Elizabeth Enns will be teaching their 2nd session of the series. The fullest expression of Kingdom family is a multi-generational expression of community that is connected in love by blood or spirit, where each member finds a place of belonging and contributes to the well being of the whole. What is the RESPONSIBILITY of family? To love and care for one another, - To be submitted to one another - To find God’s purpose and walk in it.
